    Made By Young People teaches Britains’ young people HOW TO MAKE MONEY LEGALLY!! We work with teenagers who may be operating in the black market and turn them into tax paying entrepreneurs and or employees. Everyone benefits from Made By Young People, the individuals, their families, the local community and wider society.

    We teach young people experientially how to set up and run a clothing business by using non-formal education methodologies that young people respond to.

    On the first day young people design and make a prototypes which they then sell… they see immediate results… LEGAL MONEY in their pockets.

    We have taken four major complaints many teenagers have

    • We can’t see point of school
    • We are bored
    • We have no job
    • We have no money

    And turned them upside down.

    The great thing about this business is that EVERYONE becomes a potential customer, so we are able to use MBYP as a behaviour modification tool.

    MBYP was started by 50FIFTY CLOTHING encompassing Tshirtprintingbirmingham.co.uk and  UKoffootball.co.uk a real clothing company run by ex-teachers and youth workers. MBYP taps into the creative and entrepreneurial talents of young people and channelstheir energies away from anti social behaviour and crime and into learning new skills in

    clothing and other promotional goods.

    We have a variety of ways that we engage young people:

    Workshops – Diversionary activities that last one, two or just a few sessions

    Alternative Education – Supplementary or additional education courses where young people learn how to use all the software, hardware, website building, teamwork, sales and negotiation. Projects are usually a miumum of six weeks and can run for a whole academic year.

    Start Your Own Business or Social Enterprise – Where a group of young people (with or without a youth worker, teacher or responsible adult become a member of Made By Young People Network. They will receive all the hints and tips necessary to Start a Business or Social Enterprise. New businesses receive training, work experience and ALL of the equipment to start making money from day one.
